The first step in this project was to pick topics that can relate to us. I chose to do my project over the Chicago Cubs because I like the baseball team around and I love baseball overall. The next step was to go onto the internet to find pictures so we could place them on a 8 x 10 document. The way I did my "C" was by getting the Chicago "C" off a website, put in on the document, create a path to text on, and type Chicago in blue font all the way around it. After this was done, I then deleted the fill so that only the text would remain. Th next thing I did was to put the "U, B and S" in the "C" by using my move tool and also my scale tool. After postioning them where I wanted, I then added glows and shadows to all of them. When I placed the "Chicago" text on the document, I used kerning and spacing tools so that I could change how the letters look. I also added outer glow and rotated the word to make the letters really POP. For my "23", I placed it on the document and from here I had to use the scale tool. I also added an outer shadow. For the "W", I had to create a new layer and I also had to create a new layer with the baseball. Next I pushed my Alt key and connected the two layers so that they would overlap. Once I deleted excess stuff, the baseball was placed into the W. For my baseball player, I got a picture off of Google and placed it on the document. I then created a path and wrote "Baseball" in black text all the way around it. The final step was for me to delete the fill and all that was left was the writing. My background and cubs was both done the same way and or me to do it, I had to use the paint tool. I went to the color fill and allowed them to use both red and white. Finally, for my name I created a text box, wrote my name, scaled it by making it bigger, and added an inner shadow as well as an outer shadow and glow.
